The Altay Buckwheat honey is monofloral, aromatic, rich in minerals and unmatched in the number of iron. The color of buckwheat honey can vary from brown, dark brown to reddish.  It has a very strong flavor, almost caramel like sweetness and an unusual aroma. Buckwheat honey is a wonderful antioxidant and antiseptic known to be applied to open wounds and abrasions to speed the healing process as well as being taken to ease cough and sore throats.
